Futuro contínuo e futuro perfeito
Future continuous and future perfect

Will be + -ing descreve algo em andamento num momento do futuro; will have + particípio descreve algo que já estará concluído até um momento do futuro. Os dois ajudam a planejar prazos e a fazer perguntas educadas.

- Futuro contínuo: will be + -ing. This time tomorrow, I will be flying to New York.
- Pergunta educada sobre planos: Will you be joining the call? soa mais neutra e gentil que Will you join...?, que pode parecer pedido.
- Futuro perfeito: will have + particípio. By Friday, we will have finished the migration.
- By + tempo = até, no máximo: by Friday, by the end of the month, by 5 p.m. By the time + presente simples: By the time you arrive, I'll have sent it.
- Negativas: won't be + -ing; won't have + particípio.
- Mesma forma para todas as pessoas, como todo modal.

- Don't call me at 3. I'll be presenting the demo.Não me liga às 3. Vou estar apresentando a demo.
- The payment won't have arrived by Monday. It's a holiday in the US.O pagamento não vai ter chegado até segunda. É feriado nos EUA.
Erros comuns
- Errado:
I will finish it until Friday.Certo: I will have finished it by Friday.Até, no sentido de prazo, é by. Until é para algo que continua até um momento (I will be here until 6). - Errado:
By the time you will arrive, I will have left.Certo: By the time you arrive, I will have left.Quando by the time apresenta um momento futuro, use o presente simples nessa parte: by the time you arrive. A outra parte mostra o que já estará concluído: I will have left. - Errado:
We will have finish the migration by June.Certo: We will have finished the migration by June.Depois de will have vem o particípio.
Pratique antes de avançar
- Escreva o que você vai estar fazendo amanhã às 10h, às 15h e às 20h (I will be...).
- Liste três metas para o fim do mês com By the end of the month, I will have...
